I think you're taking this to heart, time_digger. I don't think it's meant ot be as serious as you see it. It's sarcastic, no doubt, bitter - sure, but not pathetic, I wouldn't say.

and yes, yes, indeed I do breath more freely when I'm in like/love, yes, it's less sad, less heartwrenchingly-lonely... but on the other hand I'm enjoying having my wits about :)
